WhatsApp Business
Connect WhatsApp so Olori can send broadcasts, run sequences and reply to customers from your business number. WhatsApp is often the single most effective channel for reaching African customers.
How the connection works
SabiMaketa runs a dedicated WhatsApp instance for your workspace. You link your number by scanning a QR code — the same way you link WhatsApp Web — and the connection stays live so Olori can send and receive on your behalf.
Setup
- 1
Open Channels and choose WhatsApp
Start the WhatsApp connection from the Channels screen.
- 2
Scan the QR code
On your phone, open WhatsApp, go to Linked Devices, and scan the code shown in SabiMaketa.
- 3
Confirm it is linked
Once paired, WhatsApp shows as Connected and Olori can send a test message.
- 4
Import your contacts
Ask Olori to import your contact list so you have people to reach.
Sending responsibly
Only message customers who have opted in. Olori spaces messages out and respects limits to keep your number healthy, and never contacts anyone who has opted out.
Do I need the official WhatsApp Business API?
No separate API application is required for the standard connection — you link your existing WhatsApp number by QR code. For very high volumes, talk to us about a scaled setup.
Can Olori reply to incoming messages?
Yes. Incoming messages appear in your Engagement inbox with an AI-drafted reply you can edit and send, or with Autopilot she can handle routine replies for you.
