Compliance
SabiMaketa is built to help you market responsibly and meet data-protection law — NDPA in Nigeria, POPIA in South Africa, the Kenya Data Protection Act, and GDPR in the EU.
What SabiMaketa handles for you
Opt-out enforcement
Anyone who unsubscribes is never messaged again, across every channel
Safe sending
WhatsApp and email go out within platform limits to protect your standing
Audit trail
Every action Olori takes is logged with a timestamp and who approved it
Workspace isolation
Your data is kept separate from every other business on the platform
Consent is yours to obtain
You are the data controller. Before you add someone to a broadcast or email list, you must have their consent. SabiMaketa gives you the tools to collect and honour consent and to include opt-out links on every message — but the legal duty to obtain it rests with you.
Data requests
If a customer asks for their data or to be deleted, you can export or remove their record so you can respond within the timeframes the law requires. Every message you send also carries a working unsubscribe path by default.
The Website Widget captures consent for you
When you add SabiMaketa to your website, the chat collects contact details compliantly on your behalf. Each visitor sees clear, unticked opt-in wording per channel — email and SMS separately — with the required TCPA text for marketing texts (msg & data rates, reply STOP to opt out). The exact wording, a timestamp, IP and the privacy-policy version are stored as an immutable consent record. Email capture follows CAN-SPAM (one-click unsubscribe and your postal address on every send), and consent is the lawful basis under GDPR/CCPA. A visitor who does not opt in is stored but never marketed to. See the guide 'Add SabiMaketa to Your Website' to set it up.
Buying lists or messaging people who never opted in breaks the law and gets your channels banned. Grow your list with genuine consent — Olori's Scout, lead tools and Website Widget are built for exactly that.
