WhatsApp Broadcasts

Send personalised WhatsApp messages to hundreds or thousands of customers at once. This is one of the highest-converting channels for African businesses, and Olori handles the whole thing.

How broadcasts work

You tell Olori who to reach and what to say. She writes the message, personalises it per contact (first name, last order and more), and sends it through your connected WhatsApp Business number — spacing messages out safely so you stay within limits.

The WhatsApp screen

Under Reach, the WhatsApp screen has two tabs. Broadcasts shows every campaign with its status — draft, sending, sent or failed — and how many were delivered. Contacts is your searchable list showing who has opted in and when they were added.

Compliance and opt-outs

You can only broadcast to customers who have opted in to hear from you. Olori automatically filters out anyone who has not opted in or has unsubscribed.

Every broadcast carries an opt-out path. When someone opts out they are removed immediately and never contacted again — this protects both your customers and your number's standing.

How do I get contacts in?

Ask Olori to import your contact list, or add them through Contacts. Only opted-in numbers are eligible for broadcasts.

Can I see who replied?

Yes. The WhatsApp screen shows replies, and incoming messages appear in your Engagement inbox with an AI-drafted reply ready to edit and send.
